Joshua P. Coleman

Mr. Coleman joined Troob Capital Management LLC in 2003 as a member of the investment team where he has sourced, evaluated, structured and managed investments in both public and private companies. Mr. Coleman possesses extensive expertise with many forms of structured securities including debt, equity, preferred, mezzanine, DIP loans, trade and other claims as well as other forms of private capital solutions. His efforts have focused on basic industries, business services as well as real estate. Over his 20+ year career, he has fostered relationships with management teams, industry, financial and legal advisors and consultants. Mr. Coleman has played an instrumental role in numerous reorganization efforts, both in and out of bankruptcy, structuring financings, negotiating asset sales, engineering exits and participating on creditor committees. Prior to joining TCM, Mr. Coleman participated in the Global Corporate Finance Credit program at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., which focused extensively on structured credit and in-depth capital stack analysis. Prior to this, he worked at Deutsche Bank Securities as a Trader on the High Yield and Distressed Bond Trading desks where he was responsible for the cinema, retail and death-care sectors in addition to executing all equity and government bond transactions. Mr. Coleman received a B.A. in Economics from Lehigh University in 2000.
